Antalya June 19 2021: Building on the positive momentum in the relationship, Foreign Ministers of both Pakistan and Kuwait agreed on developing a five-year strategic plan to further enhance the bilateral relations.

This is discussed on the sidelines of Antalya Diplomacy Forum 19 June 19 2021 where Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi met with the Foreign Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah . The two Foreign Ministers discussed the entire gamut of bilateral relations and stressed the need for enhanced collaboration on issues of mutual interest at regional and international front.

Kuwait lifted ban on visas to Pakistani Nationals after 10 years
Both Foreign Ministers also discussed how their countries can cooperate with each other in the area of food security and in advancing multilateral cooperation in relevant for, particularly in the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD). The Foreign Minister of Kuwait extended an invitation to Foreign Minister Qureshi to visit Kuwait, which was accepted. Pakistan accords high priority to its fraternal ties with Kuwait, which are firmly rooted in shared values and commonality of interests in multiple areas.
