Karachi May 20 2024: The ongoing Deliverable Futures Contracts, DFC-MAY-2024, DFC-JUN-2024, and DFC-JUL-2024 of PIAA will be pre-matured tomorrow.
Share price of the company drop 15% in the last two trading session.
There is an Open interest of 33.5 million shares in the future contracts of PIAA-May and PIAA-June together, according to data available at PSX.
This is in reference to the scheme of arrangement between Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited and PIA Holding Company Limited, as sanctioned by the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), and the announcement of the ‘Final Book Closure Date’ by Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited, as per their notice issued on 16th May 2024.
The ongoing Deliverable Futures Contracts (DFC-MAY-2024, DFC-JUN-2024 and DFC-JUL-2024) of PIAA shall be pre-matured as per the following details and no new DFCs of PIAA shall be opened thereafter
New Deliverable Future Contracts (DFC-JUN-2024, DFC-JUL-2024 and DFC-AUG-2024) of PIAHCLA shall be opened as per the following details.
