Islamabad April 15 2022: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has moved a summary to increase High Speed Diesel (HSD) and MS (Petrol) prices by PKR 51.52 per liter and PKR 21.3 per liter as per the current structure of zero General Sales Tax (GST) and Petroleum Levy (PL).
The new effective prices under current structure will be PKR 195.62 per liter for HSD, PKR 171.16 per liter for Petrol, PKR 161.61 per liter for Kerosene and PKR 157.20 per liter for Light Diesel Oil.
However, based on federal government advice of imposition of PL of PKR 30 per liter on HSD and Petrol along with standard GST, the increase will be PKR 119.88 per liter and PKR 83.3 per liter respectively.
The new effective prices under standard GST and proposed PL rates will be PKR 264.03 per liter for HSD, PKR 233.36 per liter for Petrol, PKR 203.12 per liter for Kerosene and PKR 195.62 per liter for Light Diesel Oil.
