Islamabad July 13 2022: Oil And Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary of reduction in prices of petroleum products to the Petroleum Division.
According to sources, the Petroleum Division has sent a summary of the reduction in petroleum products to the Finance Ministry for approval.
Sources said that the price of petrol is likely to be reduced by Rs 18 per liter and diesel by Rs 33 per liter.
Sources said that the decision to reduce petroleum prices would be taken by the Finance Ministry in consultation with the Prime Minister.
According to sources, the decision on when the prices of petroleum products will be reduced will be taken in consultation with the Prime Minister.
Sources said that the Prime Minister has directed to transfer the relief of reduction in oil prices in the world market to the people.
According to sources in the Ministry of Petroleum, the summary has been prepared in the light of the instructions of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Finance has completed the process and forwarded the summary.
