Islamabad February 13 2022: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) notify Re-Gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) prices for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGP) at USD 13.38 per MMBTU for February 2022.
RLNG prices are increased substantially by 39 percent on year on year basis for the consumers when compared to rate of USD 9.61 per mmbtu in February 2021. However, in rupee terms prices are 52 percent higher compared to the same period last month. In rupee terms the RLNG prices will be PKR 2,341 per MMBTU for February 2022 compared to PKR 1,534 in the month of February 2021.
As per the notice, Pakistan State Oil (PSO) will bring six (6) cargoes of LNG while Pakistan LNG Limited (PLL) will import two (2) LNG cargoes during February 2022.
The weighted average price of PSO is USD 13.44/MMBTU while PLL prices of LNG for the month of February 2022 will be USD 13.19/MMBTU.
Average prices of Brent for the calculation of February 2022 RLNG prices has witnessed a growth of 0.7% compared to January 2022. The RLNG prices for February 2022 will be calculated at USD 80.3604 per barrels.
