Islamabad February 14 2022: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) allowed Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGPL) to recover Transmission and Distribution (T&D) losses of 12.95 percent and 12.76 percent from customers on flows of PSO and Pakistan LNG terminal respectively.
Allowed T&D losses cost ~USD 1.6 per MMBTU to consumers of SNGPL using RLNG flows which is built-in in the cost of RLNG billed to them.
Earlier, SNGPL was allowed to charge T&D losses of ~7.0 percent in their utility bills for providing LNG.
