Islamabad October 15 2022: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) allows the positive quarterly adjustments of Rs.93,957 million pertaining to the 4th quarter of the FY 202 1-22, to be recovered from the consumers of DISCOs in a period of 04 months w.e.f. 01.10.2022, as per the category wise rates.
This hike will not apply to consumers of K-Electric.
No Quarterly adjustments would be passed on to Bl, B2, B3 and B4 industrial consumers to the extent of incremental sales till continuation of the package, in line with the Authority’s decision dated 01.12.2020.
This hike will increase the monthly electricity bill in a range of Rs 174 to Rs 2,630 for consumers, according to energy sector experts.
