Karachi September 25 2023: National Refinery Limited (NRL) starts production and supply of bunker fuel, according to company filing to the exchange.
“National Refinery Limited is pleased to announce the production and supply of very low sulphur furnace oil (VLSFO) also known as “bunker Fuel” after necessary change in crude mix and adjustments in production process VLSFO is a premium product and environment friendly fuel compulsory for all sea vessels under International Maritime Organization (IMO) 2020, Regulation” states company filing to Pakistan Stock Exchange.
“Due to limited availability VLSFO demand is stable. The supply of VLSFO shall assist in maintaining sustainable refinery operations independent of seasonal factors” the statement added.
