Karachi November 28 2023: KSE-100 index crosses 60,000 level in today’s trading for the first time in history as bank continue to rally on improvement in economic conditions, as per data available at Pakistan Stock Exchange.
KSE-100 gains 698 points to trade at 60,500 at PST 9:53 on Tuesday. The index provided return of 16.5 percent during the month of November as Foreigners remain aggressive buyers with buying of over USD 21 million since start of this month.
The primary contributors to KSE-100 index continue to be banks, with Habib Bank Limited leading by contributing 76 points, marking a 3.87 percent increase in its share price. Following closely, United Bank Limited added 44 points, reflecting a 1.73 percent surge in its share price, while MCB Bank contributed 40 points with a 1.88 percent rise in its share price.
Additionally, The Hub Power Company Limited and Pakistan Services played a significant role by contributing 27 and 23 points, respectively, to the KSE-100 index.
