Karachi September 20 2022: K-Electric has submitted an application to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), seeking a reduction of PKR 4.211 per unit in the power tariff for the month of August 2022, it emerged on Wednesday.
As per the details, K-Electric has requested decrease of PKR 4.211 per unit for the month of August under fuel charges adjustment. This will be a relief of PKR 7,217 million for the citizen of Karachi.
NEPRA will take the final decision for increase in prices on 29th September 2022.
