Islamabad June 4 2022: Interim bail of Asad Umar, Sadaqat Abbasi, Raja Khurram and Ali Awan of PTI has been granted till June 20 in the hearing of the case of vandalism in PTI Long March in District and Sessions Court Islamabad.
The case, which appeared in the PTI leader’s District and Sessions Court on Saturday, was heard by District and Sessions Judge Kamran Basharat Mufti.
The court granted interim bail to the PTI leaders in exchange for 5,000 bail bonds.
Bail has been granted in the FIR registered against Asad Umar and others in I-9 police station and the court adjourned the hearing of the case till June 20.
Talking to media in the district court, Asad Umar said that the legal community has always stood by us in bad times.
`The nation is lawyers and we are ready. Soon you will all be free. Our party has been as active for two months as never before.
Asad Umar said, “Despite the barbarism that befell us during the long march, the leadership and the workers stood firm. A faction in the PML-N has come to know that their politics is in danger.”
He said that PML-N is now taking petitions to the courts to stop the elections.
On this occasion, PTI leader Faisal Javed said that they are waiting for the protection of the Supreme Court for the Azadi March.
