Islamabad September 22 2022: After the former Prime Minister and Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan offered to apologize to the female judge in the contempt of court case, the Islamabad High Court has decided not to indict him today.
It should be noted that his answer on the previous hearing was declared unsatisfactory by the court and the charges were to be laid in today’s hearing.
However, when the hearing of the case began today, Imran Khan’s lawyer told the court that his client wanted to say something, on which the court called the former prime minister to the rostrum.
Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman while addressing the larger bench said that he is ready to personally apologize to the lady judge.
The court appreciated his statement and directed him to submit a written affidavit, remarking that the affidavit should be submitted before the next hearing, which would be scrutinized.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till October 3 while deciding not to file charges at present.
