Washington DC June 27 2023: As part of the Fund’s increased transparency, the tentative calendar of the formal meetings and seminars of the Executive Board for the next seven days is released.
Pakistan has not been included in these board meetings of IMF so far for the month of June and first week of July. However, Prime Minister of Pakistan expects IMF decision in a day or two as he talks to IMF MD on a phone.
Executive Board to take Emergency Financing Cumulative Access Limits and the Review of the Food Shock Window on June 27 2023. On June 28, 2023 IMF Executive Board to take up Republic of Serbia – 2023 – Article IV Consultation and First Review Under the Stand-By Arrangement and Democratic Republic of the Congo – Fourth Review under the Extended Credit Facility Arrangement.
On June 29, 2023, IMF Executive Board will discuss Cameroon Fourth Reviews Under the Extended Credit Facility and Extended Fund Facility.
On July 5th, 2023, Niger – Third ECF Review and a request for an arrangement under the Resilience and Sustainability Facility and Kingdom of Bahrain – 2023 Article IV Consultation is on IMF agenda.
IMF board to take up United Kingdom – 2023 Article IV Consultation and Republic of Mozambique – Second Review Under the Three-Year Arrangement Under the Extended Credit Facility and Request for Modification of the Monetary Policy Consultation Clause and Financing Assurances Review on July 6th, 2023.
