HUBC, SNGP, PRL, NETSOL Among Seven Included in Sharia Compliant KMI-30 Index

Karachi June 26 2022: Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited has carried-out the exercise of recomposition of KSE-Meezan 30 Index (KMI 30 Index) for the review period from July 01, 2022 to December 31, 2022.

The re-composition has been carried out on the basis of the selection criteria as detailed in the Brochure of KMI 30 Index.

Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL) and Cnergyico PK Limited (CNERGY) are no more sharia compliant.

As a result seven companies would be affected including, Hub Power Company Limited (HUBC), Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL), NetSol Technologies Limited (NETSOL), Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGP), Attock Petroleum Limited (APL), Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited (LOTCHEM) and Shell (Pakistan) Limited (SHEL) are included into the KMI-30 Index.

Whereas, Cnergyico PK Limited (CNERGY), Ghani Global Holdings Limited (GHNI), Nishat Mills Limited (NML), Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL), The Searle Company Limited (SEARL), Telecard Limited (TELE) and Treet Corporation Limited (TREET) excluded from the KMI-30 Index.

There composed index will be implemented with effect from Friday July 7, 2023. Following is the list of stocks falling under KMI 30 Index.
