Islamabad August 28 2022: NDMA has warned that ‘high to very high flood levels may occur between five and a half to seven lakh cusecs’ at Kalabagh and Chashma points in the Indus River.
NDMA says that during the next 24 hours, the flood level in the Kabul River and Sindh will remain at a high level, while the flood at Nowshera in the Kabul River may be extremely high.
At present, there is a high level of flood in the Indus River in Taunsa and Sukkur, while there is a medium level of flood in Chashma, Guddu and Kotri, but there is a low level of flood in Tarbela and Kalaag.
