Islamabad September 29 2022: Environment Protection Agency, Government of KP, has granted its approval to the Company for the establishment of manufacturing plant for Calcium Carbide to G3 Technologies Limited (GTECH) vide its letter dated September 28, 2022.
The approval of the opening of the letter of credit (LC) for the left over items of
the Calcium Carbide plant has been received by the Company. With the shipment and installation of the remaining items of the plants and machinery, the Company is targeting the commercial production during 4th Quarter 2022-2023.
The Honorable Lahore High Court (LHC) has fixed October 5th as the date of
hearing for the merger of GTECH with/into Ghani Chemical Industries Limited
(GCIL).
