Karachi August 24 2022: On August 24, 2022, SBP raised PKR 828 billion through the auction of market treasury bills.
The government received total bids worth PKR 1,630 billion and the highest bids of PKR 935 billion for 3 Month T-bills followed by PKR 496 billion for 12 Months and PKR 200 billion for 6 Months.
Cut-off yields increased by 5 basis points for 3M and 6M while for 12M it remained unchanged.
The cut-off yield for 3 Months, 6 Months, and 12 Months of paper settled at 15.7949 percent, 15.8497 percent, and 15.9350 percent, respectively.
The government raised PKR 828 billion in the latest auction against a target of PKR 750 billion.
