Islamabad July 23 2022: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Miftah Ismail here on Friday announced that the government would continue providing loans under ‘Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar’ scheme.
In a tweet, the federal minister said he had a meeting with State Bank of Pakistan in this regard adding that the MPMG housing loan scheme would continue for all those whose loan applications have been approved and who have paid advances (bayana).
He said the government would also ask the banks to reduce the interest rate they have charged.
He said, the government was still in the process of reshaping the scheme to make it cheaper and more widespread.
This revised scheme would be rolled out soon, he added.
