Karachi February 3 2023: According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by PKR 2,100 per tola for 24 Karat on Friday (PST 17:45) after hitting intraday high of 2 lakh 12 thousand 900.
Pakistani currency fall 5.22 or 1.89 percent on Friday against dollar to close at all time high of 276.58 in Interbank as Prime Minister said IMF is giving tough time to finance ministry for release of USD 1.2 billion tranche. During the last seven days Rupee has lost PKR 45.69 or 16.52 percent against the dollar in the Interbank.
After this increase, the price of gold per tola in the country has reached 2 lakh 8 thousand and 300 which is still lower than the last week closing of 2 lakh 8 thousand 400.
During the last week the price of Gold increased by PKR 21,350 per tola.
The price of 24 karat 10 grams of gold trading at PKR 1 lakh 78 thousand 590, whereas that of 10 gram 22 karat went up to PKR 163,706, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.
The per tola silver is trading at PKR 2,390 on Friday compared with 2,240 price on Saturday.
In International market gold prices increase by USD 3.57 or 0.19 percent to USD 1,916.29 per ounce at PST 17:45.
