Karachi September 17 2022: According to Sindh Sarafa Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs 850 when compared with significant decline in prices of gold in international market.
After this decrease, the price of gold per tola in the country has reached 1 lakh 55 thousand.
The price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs 728 to Rs 1 lakh 32 thousand 888.
In the global market, the price of gold decreased by 19 dollar per ounce to 1,667 dollars per ounce.
Gold prices were down more than 2.5% so far this week in international market.
Gold failed to capitalize on fears of rising U.S. recession risks through the week, and was not even perceived as a safe-havenon occasion, says Philip Streible, chief market strategist at Blue Line Futures in Chicago.
