Karachi July 19 2022: According to Sindh Sarafa Bazar Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola has increased by Rs 2800 as Rupee drops against dollar both in interbank4 and open market.
The Rupee lost nearly 3.1% or 6.79 to close the day at 221.99 in the interbank. This is the second highest daily drop in Pakistan’s history after Rupee decline of 9.38 on 9th October 2018. While Dollar in open market up by Rs 8 to trade at 224.50 and in last two sessions dollar gained Rs 12.50 in open market.
Yesterday, the prices of gold increased by Rs 1550 per tola and in two days price of gold increases by Rs 4350 per tola.
After the increase of 2800 rupees, one tola of gold in the country has become 1 lakh 45 thousand 200 rupees.
Ten grams of gold has increased by Rs 2400 rupees to 1 lakh 24 thousand 485 rupees.
According to the Sindh Exchange Bazar Jewelers Association, the price of gold in the international exchange increased by $2 to $1717 per ounce.
