Islamabad February 9 2024: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader candidate for country premiership wins his seat from Lahore with a huge margin from Yasmeen Rashid a PTI backed Independent Candidate.
Nawaz Shareef secures 171,024 votes while Yasmeen Rashid remain on second spot with votes of 115,043 from National Assembly seat number 130.
According to official results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan, PML-N is ahead in the National Assembly with 14 seats, followed by an Independent candidate (most of which backed by PTI) with 12 seats, and the Pakistan Peoples Party securing 9 seats, while BNP and PML obtain one seat each.
