Karachi June 20 2022: Pakistan rupee drop against the dollar by rupee 1.25 in the interbank trading on delay in IMF program.
Pakistan position is more peculiar due to decline in SBP reserves below the threshold of $9 billion due to significant decline in remittances.
The Rupee lost nearly 0.6% or 1.25 rupee to trade the at 210 in the interbank.
Rupee drop for the 8th consecutive day losing almost rupee 8.8 against dollar since 8th June 2022.
On last trading day, Rupee closes at Rs 208.75 in the interbank market
