Lahore March 27 2023: D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited has successfully completed construction and installation of On-Grid Solar Power Plant of 6.952MW at its site in Khairpur, Distt Chakwai, according to company filing to the exchange.
“The project has successfully started power generation. It will decrease our power cost mix, reduce carbon foot prints and curtail reliance on expensive fossil fuels” says company Chairperson Mrs. Naz Mansha.
D. G. Khan Cement Company Limited is a public company limited by shares incorporated in Pakistan in 1978 under the repealed Companies Act, 1913 (now Companies Act, 2017). The Company is principally engaged in production and sale of Clinker, Ordinary Portland and Sulphate Resistant Cement.
