Islamabad June 15 2023: Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Climate Change, Sherry Rehman, says that the speed of Cyclone Bipar Joy has decreased, but the intensity in the center of the storm remains and now it is likely to hit Kati Bandar in the Sindh coastal area at night.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, he said that the cyclone has changed its direction, moving away from Karachi, but still caution is needed as it will cause strong winds and rain in Karachi, Hyderabad and other districts.
He said that due to the cyclone, it will have its effects on Thatta, Badin, Sajawal, Mirpur Khas.
