Lahore August 26 2022: Agritech Limited posted loss of PKR 1.8 billion in first half of 2022, according to the company’s filing to the exchange.
The share price of the company falls 2.7% or 20 paisa to PKR 7.30 after the announcement.
The amount of loss of is 6.4 percent higher when compared with loss of PKR 1.7 billion posted by the company during the same period last year.
Sales of the company grew by 2.6 times due to government priority for supply of gas to the fertilizer manufacturers.
Company posted gross profit of PKR 411 million when compared with loss of PKR 283 million in the same period last year.
Finance cost of Agritech increased to PKR 1.9 billion in first half 2022 when compared with cost of PKR 1.3 billion in first half 2021.
