Karachi January 22 2022: In another landmark achievement not only for the Company but the Country; PARCO successfully completed the commissioning and startup of multi-grade transportation through its Mahmoodkot-Faisalabad-Machike (MFM) pipeline from Mahmoodkot to Machike.
The same has been accomplished with the transportation of 13.5 KT of Premier Motor Gasoline (PMG), that was launched in MFM Pipeline from PS-5 Mahmoodkot on the 12th of January 2022 and received at TS-4 Machike on 16th January 2022.

With this landmark, the complete network of 1,150 KM Pipelines (786 WOP PAPCO + 364 MFM PARCO pipeline) has been dualized and is functional for the transportation of both PMG and HSD.

This dualization will not only help to make the transportation of refined products from Karachi to Machike more efficient, safer and cost effective, but will also bring further stability in the energy supply chain of the country. It will also contribute towards a greener environment and achieve the goal of net-zero carbon emissions by doing away with thousands of tank lorries from main highways. Last but not the least, this dualization shall save the government save billions of taxpayer’s money, which was spent on the rehabilitation of the roads annually from Karachi to Machike.
