Islamabad June 06 2021: Country reported 1,629 news cases on Jun 05, 2021 compared to average of 2,734 during last 30 days. Number of individuals recovered from COVID reported at 2,726 during last 24 hours. As a result, active cases declined to 47,764 which is the lowest level since March 28, 2021.
Pakistan’s coronavirus positivity rate declined to 3.1 percent compared to 30 days’ average of 6.1 percent. The positivity rate is lowest since Feb 27, 2021.
Sindh and AJK were the most affected, as positivity rate witnessed at 5.3 percent and 5.9 percent, respectively. In Punjab and Islamabad, positivity rate witnessed at 1.8 percent and 1.6 percent respectively.
Total 76 new deaths reported, highest reported in Punjab 49, followed by 11 in Sindh and 9 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
