Karachi November 20 2023: Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) reported loss of PKR 11.2 billion in fiscal year 2022 ended June 2022 after reporting profit last year, according to company filing to the exchange.
SSGC booked finance cost of PKR 5.2 billion in fiscal year 2022 compared with financial charges of PKR 4.6 billion in the same period last year.
Other operating expenses of the company soar to PKR 20.3 billion compared with just PKR 463 million same period last year.
Sui Southern Gas Company Limited’s main activity is transmission and distribution of natural gas in Sindh and Baluchistan. The Company is also engaged in certain activities related to the gas business including the manufacturing and sale of gas meters and construction contracts for laying of pipelines.
