Karachi May 19 2023: K-Electric has submitted an application to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), seeking a hike of PKR 5.659 per unit in the power tariff, it emerged on Friday.
As per the details, K-Electric has requested an increase of PKR 5.170 per unit under quarterly adjustment request for quarter ended March 2023 and PKR 0.489 per unit under fuel charges adjustment for April 2023.
NEPRA will take the final decision for increase in prices on 31st May 2023.
