Islamabad May 10 2023: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan was presented in the court of Judge Muhammad Bashir during the hearing of the Al-Qadir Trust case in the accountability court which was shifted to Police Lines.
At the beginning of the hearing, NAB Prosecutor Muzaffar Abbasi requested the court for a 14-day physical remand of Imran Khan, which was opposed by Imran Khan’s lawyers.
Imran Khan’s lawyer was of the opinion that before considering the remand, the matter should be looked at as to how Imran Khan was arrested from the High Court, there is a question mark and the court should also respect its sanctity, so it The matter should be looked at first.
On this, Judge Muhammad Bashir said that the matter of arrest is already under hearing in the High Court and the same court will see it.
