Lahore March 8 2022: Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Ltd, the maker of Honda City and Civic, shut its production plant due to import restrictions, according to company filing to the exchange.
“Considering the current economic situation of the Country, the Government has resorted to stringent measures including minimizing the import of CKD kits and raw materials, the Company’s supply chain has also been disrupted by such measures” says Company Chairman Aamir H.Shirazi.
As a result, the Company is not in a position to continue with its production and ultimately has to shut its plant from March 09, 2022 to March 31, 2022.
