Islamabad February 21 2023: The National Accountability Bureau has summoned former Prime Minister and Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan on March 9 in the Tosha Khana case.
According to the details released by NAB, Imran Khan has been ordered to appear before NAB and record his statement.
In the notice sent by the NAB officials to Imran Khan’s Bani Gala address, it is said that the NAB officials have started an investigation against such persons who buy gifts from Tosha Khana at a low price and sell them.
The notice says that Imran Khan should appear before the joint investigation team on March 9 and record his statement regarding the gifts received by the heads of state of these countries during his foreign visits as Prime Minister.
The notice also mentions the gifts that were given to Imran Khan as a minister by various heads of state.
It also includes six watches, including the watch (Kaaba Edition) gifted to Imran by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, which has been reported in the local media as Imran Khan. The watch was reportedly sold for Rs 5 crore while its market value is much higher than that.
Other items include a gold pan, cufflinks and an unstitched suit.
Apart from this, the notice sent to Imran Khan also asked him to tell about the iPhone which was gifted to him by the Chief of Armed Forces of Qatar. The investigation into this matter was started by the NAB authorities from November 22 and the statements of the concerned persons have also been recorded in it.
