Karachi December 2 2022: According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by PKR 500 per tola for 24 Karat on Friday to record high (PST 21:00).
After this increase, the price of gold per tola in the country has reached an all time high of 1 lakh 62 thousand 800. During last week the price of Gold increased by PKR 2,800 per tola.
Prior to this, Gold prices in Pakistan recorded high of PKR 162,500 per tola on July 28th this year.
The price of 24 karat 10 grams of gold trading at PKR 1 lakh 39 thousand 580, whereas that of 10 gram 22 karat went up to PKR 127,947, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.
The per tola silver is trading at PKR 1,910.
In International market, Gold prices slipped more than 1% on Friday after a robust U.S. jobs data that fanned concerns that the Federal Reserve might stick with its aggressive monetary policy tightening.
Spot gold fell 1.1% to $1,783.41 per ounce by 9:21 a.m. ET (1421 GMT), after earlier hitting its highest since Aug. 10 at $1,804.46. U.S. gold futures dropped 1% to $1,797.40.
