Islamabad December 1 2022: Pakistan trade deficit increased 23.59 percent during the month of November to USD 2,879 million when compared to the previous month, according to data released by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
As per the latest data released, exports stood at USD 2,369 million while Imports were USD 5,245 million during November 2022.
The data showed that exports during November 2022 were 0.63 percent lower than exports of October 2022 and 18.34 percent lower compared to exports of November 2021.
The data showed that imports during November 2022 were 11.34 percent higher than imports of October 2022 and decreased by 33.60 percent compared to imports of November 2021.
Trade deficit decreased by 42.46 percent during the month of November 2022 when compared with data of the corresponding month last year.
Moreover, trade deficit also decreased by 30.14 percent during the period from July to November 2022 to USD 14,406 million when compared with data of the corresponding period last year.
Exports during the period from July to November 2022 decreased by 3.48 percent to USD 11,932 million when compared with the same period last year while imports during the same period decreased by 20.15 percent to USD 26,338 million.
