Lahore November 28 2022: Former federal minister and Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that the dissolution of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has been approved.
A consultative meeting regarding resignation from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assemblies was held under the chairmanship of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan in which important decisions were taken.
Speaking to the media outside Lahore Zaman Park after the meeting, Fawad Chaudhry said that the dissolution of the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has been approved.
He said that due to our resignations, 567 seats will be vacant across the country, while our assembly members in Sindh and Balochistan will submit their resignations and the Speaker National Assembly will also be asked to accept the resignations of PTI members. He said that constitutionally elections should be held in Punjab and KPK in 90 days. He said that Imran Khan has called a parliamentary party meeting on Friday.
