Islamabad September 30 2022: Government reduced Petrol price by PKR 12.63 and Diesel by PKR 12.13.
“The petrol price has been reduced to PKR 224.80 from PKR237.47 after a reduction of PKR12.63. Similarly, high speed diesel price is being reduced by PKR12.13. It will be now be sold at PKR235.30 from existing PKR247.38,” the finance minister said in a press conference here at Islamabad.
The new prices will be effective from midnight, according to the Finance Minister.
Moreover, prices of kerosene and LDO decrease by PKR 10.19 per liter and PKR 10.78 per liter.
The new effective price of MS (Petrol) is PKR 224.80 per liter, Diesel PKR 235.30 per liter, Kerosene PKR 191.83 per liter and Light Diesel Oil PKR 186.50 per liter.
On new prices, Government is charging Petroleum Levy of PKR 32.42 per liter on Petrol, PKR 12.58 per liter on Diesel, PKR 15 per liter and PKR 10 per liter on Light Diesel Oil.
