Karachi September 26 2022: The Sindh High Court has stopped the collection of KMC tax in electricity bills from the citizens of Karachi till the next hearing.
A hearing was held in the Sindh High Court on the petition against the collection of KMC taxes in the electricity bills.
Murtaza Wahab request before the court that do not stop KMC tax collection now. I will present all the details at the next hearing, on which Justice Azhar Rizvi remarked that if you are doing all the work then what is the Sindh government doing. Murtaza Wahab said that Sindh government is also working, don’t stop this tax, we have received taxes from KPT after 9 years.
