Islamabad July 1 2022: Engro Fertilizer Limited, the second largest Urea manufacturer in the country, increases urea prices to PKR 2,200 per bag, according to letter issued to its dealer.
“Urea price is being increased to pass on additional costs resulting from recent changes in GST law, rising fuel prices, rupee devaluation and increasing financing cost of funding receivables from the government. Super tax impact has not yet been passed through this price increase.” Says company in a statement.
As per notice sent to dealers, Engro Fertilizer increase urea prices to PKR 2,200 per bag from earlier prices of PKR 1,950 per bag.
