Islamabad June 3 2022: KP government cut fuel expenditure of all provincial departments by 35% as per the notification issued by the provincial government.
The letter state that, “the provincial government focusses on good governance and service delivery to the general public. In this context, and with unusual spike in the petroleum products prices witnessed since the last couple of weeks, which will put very high pressure on the resources of the provincial government, the HCM has directed to reduce the POL expenditure of the all provincial government departments, institutions and organizations by levying a 35% cut in their POL expenses with immediate effect, This measure, will enable the provincial government to sustain the financial pressure due to the hike in the prices of the petroleum products.”
The letter added, “Foregoing in view, I am directed to convey the above directive of the Honorable Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to your good self, with the request that the same shall be implemented forthwith.”
