Karachi June 2 2022: In light of the global economic downturn, Swvl paused Swvl Daily rides within the cities of Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Faisalabad starting from Sunday the 5th of June, 2022.
Company said stated in its statement that, “
In July 2019, a journey started in Pakistan. A journey that was driven by a mission of solving a major problem that all of us face and live in every day.”
It added, “Swvl promised that having reliable, comfortable, and affordable means of transportation is not something fictional. We believe that every Pakistani should have this right, the right to commute safely every day.”
Swvl was operating in Pakistan with three different solutions, Swvl Daily, which is tailored for rides inside the cities of Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Faisalabad. Swvl Travel, which is tailored for City-to-City rides. Swvl Business which is tailored for B2B rides.
In light of the global economic downturn, we are pausing our Swvl Daily rides within the cities of Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Faisalabad starting from Sunday the 5th of June, 2022.
However, company said, “you can always rely on us to travel city-to-city as Swvl Travel rides are fully operational as well as Swvl Business-to-Business rides.”
