Islamabad June 1 2022: The Supreme Court has issued a written decision on the petition filed by the Islamabad High Court Bar Association regarding the PTI’s May 25 protest.
The court has sought answers to seven questions a week from the Home Secretary, including the IG Police, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, DG IB and DG ISI.
The court said that after reviewing all the evidence, it will be decided whether the court order has been disobeyed or not.
The court asked the following questions:
How many protesters managed to enter the red zone?
What were the red zone security arrangements?
What is the easing of security arrangements by the executive authorities?
Did the administration and police take any action against the workers?
Was the security barrier broken?
Did the protesters or party workers go to G-9 and H-9 ground?
Has the assurance given to the government been violated?
The court also sought details of the injured, arrested and hospitalized protesters
