Islamabad February 18, 2022: As per the latest data released by the Pakistan Cotton Ginner’s Association (PCGA), the cotton arrival in the country increased by 32.4 percent YoY and reached at 7,435 thousand bales as of 15 February 2022.

Total cotton arrivals surged to 7,435 thousand bales as of 15 February 2022, compared to 5,616 thousand bales in the same period last year.
Cotton arrival in Punjab reached at 3,922 thousand bales as of 15 February 2022 compared to 3,480 thousand bales in the same period last year, witnessed an increase of 442 thousand bales. Compared to February 2022, cotton arrival recorded a meagre increase of 0.3 percent as compared to 3,909 thousand bales.
Cotton arrival in Sindh reached 3,513 thousand bales on 15 February 2022, compared to 2,136 thousand bales as of 15 February 2021, up by 64 percent YoY and in absolute term 1,377 thousand bales.
