Karachi January 12 2023: Toyota Pakistan increased auto prices to pass on the impact of increasing input cost and uncertain economic conditions.

In its letter Toyota Pakistan said that they are increasing prices due to economic uncertainties and inflation in raw material cost along with significant increase in the vendor cost of production. In addition, the volatile situation of forex, increase in utilities and overheads has also impacted the cost of manufacturing for IMC.

Thus, this situation has made it extremely difficult for IMC to hold the current retail selling prices and therefore, we are compelled to pass on some impact to the market. At this point, we will be passing this impact on the below variants.

New RSP Ex-factory Karachi (Column B) will be effective on all new orders booked after 12th January 2023.

All orders which are Good to Go (GTG) in IMC system as of 12th January 2023, or for which full / balance payment instrument is dated 12th January 2023 or before with respect to IMC price circulars of 22nd March 2022, 29th April 2022 and 15th August 2022 will be invoiced as per their respective price.

All Not Good to Go (NGTG) orders in IMC system as of 13th January 2023 or for which full / balance payment instrument is dated after 12th January 2023 will be invoiced on price prevailing at the time of vehicle delivery.

The prices are exclusive of transportation, transit insurance charges, etc. which are to be charged at applicable rates from customers.

The above prices are provisional, and the price applicable at the time of delivery shall be final. Any impact on prices due to changes in Government levies and taxes (including FED & CVT), tariff, fiscal policies, import policies, forex, etc. will be on account of customer.

The prices are exclusive of advance income tax/ WHT which is to be charged from customers based on applicable tax rates for Filers/Non-filers under the Income Tax Ordinance.

Orders placed by customers are governed by the partial payment terms and the terms and conditions of Provisional Booking Order Form (PBO) signed and submitted by the customer.

The prices are Ex-factory Karachi, per unit inclusive of 17% Sales Tax, applicable FED, 1% CVT and Dealer’s commission.
