Karachi December 28 2022: SBP BSC field offices shall remain open on Saturday, December 31, 2022 up to 8 PM, besides working for extending hours on Friday December 30, 2022 to facilitate pubic for exchange of old notes.
Earlier, Federal Government Notification for last date for exchangeability of old design large, size banknotes of Rs 10, 50, 100 & 1000 is December 31, 2022.
These banknotes are exchangeable from the field offices of State Bank of Pakistan’s subsidiary, namely, SBP Banking Services Corporation (SBP-BSC) only. In order to facilitate the public, the SBP BSC field offices shall remain open on Saturday, December 31, 2022 up to 8 PM, besides working for extending hours on Friday December 30, 2022.
Public is requested to get these old design, large size banknotes of Rs. 10, 50, 100, 1000 exchanged on or before December 31, 2022. After expiry of the above deadline, abovementioned banknotes shall no longer be exchanged.
