Lahore March 30 2022: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority held a public hearing at Lahore on March 30, 2022 at PC Lahore to consider Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL)’s petition for Determination of its Estimated Revenue Requirements / prescribed prices for FY 2022-23.
The Petitioner has projected average Prescribed Price at Rs. 920.88/mmbtu for FY 2022-23. The petitioner has also requested Rs. 1,172.01/mmbtu on account of previous years' shortfall. Accordingly, aggregate average prescribed price has been requested at Rs. 2,074.89 per MMBTU including previous years’ shortfall in natural gas business.
Thwe demand of SNGPL is three times higher when compared with OGRA approved average gas price of Rs 670.37 per MMBTU for the fiscal year 2021-22.
The Petitioner has also projected RLNG cost of service at Rs. 490.18 per MMBTU w.e.f July 01, 2022 for RLNG business, including Rs. 330.68/MMBTU on account of differential impact of RLNG diversion.
