Islamabad July 8 2022: To increase corporatization and promote EoDB, SECP has approved around 41,000 company names during FY2021-22, according to the information shared by Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.
As a result of digital reforms introduced by the SECP, around 99.9 percent applications have been filed and disposed off digitally.
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) registered 26,483 new companies in Fiscal Year 2022.
The real estate development & construction sector took the lead with incorporation of 4,791, information technology with 3,760, trading with 3,534, services with 2,408, ecommerce with 1,038, education with 962, food & beverages with 937, tourism with 790, textile with 701 and marketing & advertisement with 671.
