Trade Deficit Reached All Time High Since PTI In Power

This takes total rupee depreciation to 1.9 percent from its recent high of Rs152.86 touched on April 16’2021. One of the reasons of this drop could be the higher import payment as trade deficit touched almost 3 years high due to higher imports as economic activity recovers more than expected.
