Riyadh September 16 2024: Rental prices in Buraydah soared by 52.7% in August 2024 compared to August 2023, marking the highest increase in any city across Saudi Arabia, according to the General Authority for Statistics.
Buraidah is the capital and largest city of Al-Qassim Region in north-central Saudi Arabia in the heart of the Arabian Peninsula.
Riyadh, the capital, saw the second-largest rental hike, with prices rising by 22.8% year-on-year.
In contrast, Baha and Skaka were the only cities to experience a decline in rents, falling by 6.9% and 0.9%, respectively, during the same period.
Meanwhile, rents in Makkah and Madinah edged up by 0.8% and 1.5%, respectively, compared to August last year
