Islamabad May 10 2023: Pakistan Tehreek Insaf leader Asad Umar has been arrested by anti terrorist squad in Islamabad.
The spokesperson of Islamabad Police has told that Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Asad Umar has been detained on suspicion of breach of peace.
According to reports, he was arrested near the Bar Council office. He was present with Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the High Court requesting to get access to Imran Khan.
Speaking to the BBC, lawyer Faisal Chaudhry confirmed that 'we were present in for submitting application with the High Court where the anti-terrorism squad detained Asad Umar and left.'
